Welcome to the Divers Arms
The Divers Arms, as the name suggests, has a feel reflecting its maritime heritage and its situation right on the seafront - just look for the clocktower!
It was built in early Victorian days, allegedly on the proceeds of a smuggler and one of the first divers. Today an old brass diving helmet (first invented in neighbouring Whitstable) is one of the several fascinating nautical artefacts and local memorabilia on display.
Freshly cooked home-style food, with an emphasis on quality and value for money, is served everyday and bookings on Sundays are highly recommended to avoid disaapointment.
The cosy bar has an inviting open fire in winter, a pool table and darts board, and outside is a sunny courtyard garden for the summer months.
Friday and Saturday nights are live music nights and the Divers hosts a full programme of entertainment throughout the year.
So come, enjoy a pint of two fo real ale, a glass of wine, good food and live music in the warm friendly place that is the Divers Arms.
Well behaved dogs and children are welcome until 9pm.
Real ale old style pub with amazing food and uber friendly staff. Really really really enjoyed our visit. If your lucky enough to be there when the young lad plays the piano you're in for a real treat. Well done The Divers Arms
